The White Sox grounded into 3 doubleplays helping Chance to finish the complete game. The first place White Sox are 18 - 8.
I remember listening to this game. The feeling that somehow they would pull it out never left me. I was actually surprised when they lost. Later in the season, Chance outlasted Horlen by the same score. Both games were heart-breakers.
