April 18, 1967 Comiskey Park
Bruce Howard tossed a complete game allowing 6 hits and 2 earned runs to defeat the Boston Red Sox and raise the White Sox record to 4 - 2. Howard helped his own cause with a double in the 7th and scored when Tommie Agee smacked a run scoring double. Ken Berry and Tommy McCraw led Chicago with 2 hits each and Pete Ward added a sac fly. Agee stole his 5th base of the young season. Howard struck out three and held a shutout through eight before surrending two 9th inning runs. It was Howard's second quality start in a row.
