Sox Blank Tribe 2 - 0, Horlen Grabs 3rd Win

May 6, 1967 (Day Game) @ Cleveland Indians

Chicago won it's 4th in a row shutting out Cleveland as Joel Horlen (3-0) allowed only 3 hits through 7 innings and Bob Locker (4 Saves) mopped up retiring the side in order in both the 8th and 9th innings. Horlen left the game early after he singled in the top of the eighth and was forced out at second base.

The White Sox scored on a Gary Bell wild pitch in the first inning and on a Tommy McCraw rbi single in the ninth plating Pete Ward who had 3 walks on the day. Indians starter Gary Bell went 8 innings giving up just 3 Palehose hits. Chicago had only 4 hits for the game. Chicago is now 12 - 7.
