Joel Horlen on Wheaties Boxes
After Joel Horlen's 1967 season, he was featured on General Mills' Wheaties cereal boxes
I never knew that Joe Horlen made the Wheaties Box. At that time it was a more significant endorsement than a Sports Illustrated cover. I am pleased that someone so special received an accolade as he was often overlooked since his winning percentage did not reflect his ability for many years of his career.
